Abstract
Tea polyphenols was fractionated by Sephadex LH-20 Column Chromatography to obtain two fractions mainly containing catechins which were taken off caffeine and pigments. The two fractions were separated and purified by semi preparation HPLC respectively to obtain seven catechin monomers.Their molocular structures were identified or verified by UV,IR,H NMR and MS methods. The purities of the seven catechins were over 99%,total yield and reclamation of seven catechins was 66.7% and 82.1% respectively.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
