Abstract
Compared with the legend of the Tang Dynasty, the story-tellers' scripts of the Song Dynasty are characterized by their plain language, unusual content and worldly characters in aesthetics. The colloquial language is closely related to its common writers and audience, the extraordinary content stems from the common people' aesthetic taste;and the description of heroes goes beyond the previous traditional patterns. The aesthetic characteristics of popularity, strangeness and originality enrich the expression in the novel, which has a profound influence on the later literature.
