Abstract

On the basis of chemiluminescence reaction of potassium permanganate and luminol in sodium hydroxide medium,in which the chemiluminescence reaction could be enhanced by AsⅢ,a novel flow-injection chemiluminescence(CL) method for determination of AsⅢ in drinking water hd been developed. Results demonstrated that AsⅢ enhanced the chemiluminescence intensity of luminol-potassium permanganate, but the intensity decreased with the reduction of AsⅢ and concentration, the linear corelation were obviously observed within the range of 8.0×10-4~7.0×10-2 mg/mL and the detection limit of 5.4×10-5 mg/mL.This method showed the advantages of simple operation, high degree of automation, easy to rrun on-line and real-time warning detection, and ould be used as a rapid method for determination of AsⅢ in drinking water.
