New Prospecting Discovery in Yongping Shizitou Molybdenum Mineralized Zone

Abstract

Locating in the eastern section of Yongping copper mining region,shizitou molybdenum mineralized zone was characteristic of Yejiawan Group in the Upper Carboniferous and the mixed rock group in the Sinian-Cambrian.The Yanshanian mid-acid rock also intruded the zone.Granite-type molybdenum was discovered for the first time by mineralization prospecting and verification process on the basis of analyzing the geological information.It is estimated that there is at least a medium-sized prospecting reserve of molybdenum in this region.
