Abstract
150 mm grade KDP crystals were grown at the growth rate of 20 mm/d by point-seed rapid growth method in a standard glass crystallizer (40 L).During the rapid growth processing of KDP crystals,the growth solution showed good stability and no impurity crystal appeared. The growth of KDP was normal,and KDP crystals were no micro-defects. X-ray powder diffraction pattern and rocking curve show the rapid growth KDP crystals with high structural integrality. Meanwhile,the transmission spectra and damage threshold of KDP crystal were measured. The results showed as-grown crystal has good optical properties.
