Abstract
It is the focus of the thought of painting in the Song Dynasty what is essence of painting. During the 300 yearsof the reign of the Song Dynasty, the opinions of essence of painting developed along the track on which the authoritative statusof course turned into idea, and then to the focus on interest. The subject of painting waked up, and painting had beencoming near to poetry.
