Abstract
Although considered as the prerequisite and basis for international commercial arbitration, the problem concerning jurisdiction over arbitration has not been paid enough attention to both in theory and in practice. This paper makes an analysis into the significance of jurisdiction over arbitration, the counterplea and its adjudication, and the conflict between the tribunal and the court and its coordination.
