Abstract
By means of investigating synthesis of diphenyl carbonate with transesterification of dimethyl carbonate and phenol under reactive distillation condition, suitable catalyst was selected and optimum processing conditions were determind, providing a foundation for the industrialization of diphenyl carbonate. The results show that the molecular ratio of phenol and dimethyl carbonate is 2∶1 at atmospheric pressure, the molecular ratio of phenol and catalyst is 1∶0.012, the molecular ratio of Ti(OC 4H 9)4 and PbO is 1∶1, the reaction temprature is 132?℃, the reaction time is 12?h, the total coversion rate of DMC is 45.43% with DPC yield of 26.33% and selectivity of 57.96%. No anisole was observed in the product mixture. The catalysis performance of selected catalyst Ti(OC 4H 9) 4-PbO is prior to dibutyltin dilaurate and PbO obviously.
