Abstract
Objective To study the chemical constituents in the volatile oils of the leaves and fruits of Rhododendron micranthum Turcz. Methods The volatile oils from the leaves and fruits of Rhododendron micranthum were extracted by water steam distillation and its chemical constituents were separated and identified by GC-MS. Results More than 1% different compounds which are different in variety and composition had been isolated from the volatile oils of Rhododendron micranthum from different product area. Conclusion The results could be provided the basis for identify the different origin in different parts.
