Abstract
Objective To evaluate the feasibility of combined SEPS and Muller's phlebectomy for treatment of valves insufficiency of the lower limbs venous perforators. Methods Marking the placement of the insufficiency of lower limbs venous perforators by ascending phlebography in 41 sick limbs from September 2004 to May 2005.31 randomized limbs accepted SEPS to cut the insufficiency of venous perforators under the deep fascia, combining Muller’s phlebectomy to strip the superficial varicose veins without disturbing the great saphenous vein. In the same time, 10 sick limbs as the control group accepted the tradition great saphenous vein phlebectomy. Results All the varicose veins disappeared, with pigmentation lightened and ulcer healed. The symptoms were not recrudesced in 5~11m. Compared with the control group, the operation time, the sewed wounds and in-hospital time averagely decreased 1.5h, 4.3 and 4.8d, respectively (all P0.01).Conclusions Combined SEPS and Muller's phlebectomy for treatment of valves insufficiency of the lower limbs venous perforators had the advantage of microtramua and rapid cured.
