Abstract
Narrative perspective is crucial in narrative theory. Most stories of PU Songling's Liao Zhai Zhi Yi adopted the omniscient third-person perspective. However,the essence of narrative art lies in the proficiency in using the limited perspective and the proper combination of the omniscient and limited perspective. The high proficiency of the narrative perspective in Liao Zhai Zhi Yi shows the maturity of its narrative thought.
