Abstract

Economic growth models were generally constituted by production functions, and we traditionally tried to organize production functions by production elements directly, that means ideal models count on strict hypotheses, thus comes the restrictions on their applicability in the realistic economic phenomena. This thesis divides production functions into different layers with the help of a mathematic idea of incognito functions, and tries to reduce the using of hypothesis conditions in each layer of production functions, especially in the first layer of production functions. When total economic values like total expenditure and total investments are set as independent variables, instead of those uncalculated production elements, the production function will be more suitable and more applicable for the explanation of our economic world.
