Clinical Analysis of 31 Cases of Cerebellum Hemorrhage

Abstract

Objective:To improve the diagnosis and treatment of hemorrhage in cerebellum. Methods:Data of symptoms,images and therapies from 31 cases of hemorrhage of cerebellum were retrospectively analyzed. Results:Symptoms such as nausea,vomiting,dizziness and dystaxia were common in this group of patients,and headache and nuchal rigidity were found in 51.6% and 32.3% patients respectively.Bleeding amounts less than 15 ml were found in 21 cases,all of them were given conservative treatment with good prognosis. Of 10 cases with bleeding amounts ≥15 ml,3 were given conservative treatment,and 1 of them died from re hemorrhage. 7 cases underwent surgical treatment,and 2 of them died from heart and retal failure. The curative rate in patients without cerebral infarct was significantly higher than those with cerebral infarct. Conclusion:For people who suddenly exhibit nausea,vomiting,dizziness and dystaxia,the possibility of hemorrhage of cerebellum should be considered. Conservative treatment is recommended for those with bleeding amount less than 15 ml.
