Abstract

[Objective]The minimum input of chemical fertilizer under same amount of Chinese milk vetch-plowing was researched for best rice yield.[Method]The effect of the application of different combined fertilizer under same amount of Chinese milk vetch-plowing on rice plant growth and yield was studied with the field experimental method.[Results]In the experimental design, the rice yield did not increase along with the increment of chemical fertilizer. The rice yield in the treatment of fertilization was significant difference with that non-fertilization and also the rice yield in the treatment of Chinese milk vetch planting + fertilization was significantly higher than that of only fertilization. In the treatment of Chinese milk vetch + chemical fertilization, the Chinese milk vetch planting + chemical fertilizer of 600 kg/hm2 resulted in higher rice yield compared with other three treatments(Chinese milk vetch planting + chemical fertilization:750,450 or 300 kg/hm2),respectively.[Conclusion]The optimum treatment for rice yield in southern Henan was Chinese milk vetch-plowing:22 500 kg/hm2 and chemical fertilizer of 600 kg/hm2.
