Abstract
A Dymola-based power system modeling method is proposed first, whereby the each component of power system has been modularly designed and modeled. The dynamic model for power system simulation can be simply established by connecting the corresponding component modules according to the electrical wiring diagram. Two testing systems are adopted to verify the reliability of the proposed model, meanwhile the model is applied to conduct the dynamic simulation and stability analysis of the testing systems.
