Abstract

With ECMWF(european centre for medium-range weather forecasts)high-resolution atmospheric reanalysis data such as precipitation water vapor, this paper analyzes the spatial distribution and temporal distribution of the precipitation water vapor in the plateau region from 1979 to 2014. The results show that,in general, the precipitation water in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau region is less and distributes uneven in spatial, with the characteristics that decreasing from southeast to northwest; the precipitation water vapor has obvious seasonal characteristics in temporal;at the same time, the value increases with fluctuation. In the 36 years,it has added about 4%,and the precipitation water vapor in different seasons shows different trend, that is the precipitation water vapor increases in summer and autumn but decreases in winter. At last, the maxima and minima of precipitation water vapor during this period emerged in 1998 and 1986 respectively.
