Design of embedded home gateway based on ARM

Home gateway is a high tech device ensuring continuity between home networks and the home connected devices and external world represented by a wide area network (WAN).It is an embedded system in which others can control the family's devices in internet.An embedded system is created to manage a limited number of specific tasks within a larger device or system.An embedded system is often built onto a single chip or board and is used to control or monitor the host device.In this article,an embedded home gateway based on ARM+Linux is designed,the system and design principles are described,and the home gateway management protocol is discussed.
