Abstract

By a brief review of the development process of western modern architectural decoration theory,this paper re-cognizes the concept of the architectural decoration,and figures out the development of the architectural styles is always accompanied with the architectural decoration.Meanwhile, in contemporary architectural design process ontological decoration and additional decoration are indivisible.
