Abstract
Based on the combined experimental methods of real-time microscope digital imaging technology and partial discharge continuous measurement, the structure properties and propagation characteristics of electrical tree in 110kV XLPE cable insulation were studied at different 50Hz power frequency applied voltage.Combined with a number of experimental results,it was found that under the effect of different applied voltages, the electrical tree structures displayed the features of diversity, the propagation process and partial discharge showed apparent stage characteristics, and also there were different propagation mechanisms in each stage.
