Abstract
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of continuous micropump infusion of atropine (CIA)and nursing care during salvage of patients with organophosphorus poisoning. Methods All cases were hospitalized and received thorough gastric lavage or skin cleaning immediately.Incipiently, these patients were treated with intermittent intravenous infusion of atropine, and quickly achieved atropinization, then administered by CIA.Results Among 28 cases with organophosphorus poisoning, only 1 case died of intermediate syndrome, other 27 cases were rescued successfully. The average hospitalization period was 21.1 days. Conclusion Administration with CIA has advantage of steady speed, constant quantity, and stable drug consumption in unit time and this method of administration is security, reliability, convenient and effective.
