Features of young athletes' sports motivation in Fujian Province

In order to explore the sports motivation levels of young athletes in Fujian Province,the thesis makes a questionnaire on 569 young athletes who have participated in the Fujian 14th Young Athletes' Sports Meeting.The results of the research shows that :(1)The global motivation level of young athletes is quite high;(2) the social approval level of female athletes is significantly higher than that of female athletes;(3) There is no significant difference between athletes who specialize in different sports events;in the same way,there is no significant difference between athletes with different length of training;(4) The higher an athlete's athletic level is,the higher is his/her social approval sports motivation level;(5) From the viewpoint of educational level,motivation of choice of effort of young athletes who are junior middle school students is higher than that of those who are senior middle school students or secondary specialized or technical school students.
