Study of Quality Standard of Baihuangsan Capsules

Abstract

A quality standards was established for Baihuangsan Capsules.Radix pulsatillae,Radix astragali,Rhizoma coptidis,Cortex phellodendri,Fructus crataegi,Fructus mume and Fructus chebulae were identified by TLC.The content of berberine hydrochloride was determined by HPLC.The results of TLC spots were clear and negative comparison with no disturbance.The quantitative evaluation of berberine hydrochloride had the linear range of 9.91～148.65 μg/mL,the average recovery was 99.70%(RSD=1.30%).This method is simple and accurate with high specificity and good repeatability.It is suitable for quality control of Baihuangsan Capsules.
