Analysis on Characteristics of Landscape Pattern and Spatial Distribution of Rural Residential Areas in ACheng District of Harbin City

In this study,Rural residential Areas in ACheng district are studied,with the vector data of 2008 and topographic map,Using the landscape indices,correlation analysis,buffer analysis and other analysis method,Based on the theory of computational geometry,ArcGIS software was applied to analysis the scale,layout character and influencing factors of rural residential areas in ACheng district.Conclusion is that the whole rural residential areas belongs to the cluster distribution,smaller,but large individual differences;rural residential areas distribution are effect by topography,transport factors and economic conditions.They almost distribute on both sides of roads or river.The stability of the entire city landscape is weak,Ecological construction should strengthen.
