Abstract
Wireless mesh networks are widely studied by both academic and industry areas for their high-speed high-capacity perfor-mance and can be easily deployed. Research on routing protocol in wireless mesh networks is one of the key research areas in these years. This paper analyzes the key points in wireless mesh routing protocol design and proposes a stability-based routing protocol for wireless mesh networks, which is based on the famous AODV protocol. The simulation results on NS2 show that this protocol has better performance than AODV,and is quite suitable for wireless mesh networks.
