Wu Zhiying's Contributions to the Chinese Democratic Revolution——Taking the Support to Qiu Jin as Example

Wu Zhiying spoke boldly in defense of justice,opposed monocracy,fought for democracy and women's rights,and made great contributions to the Chinese Democratic Revolution.She encouraged Qiu Jin to study abroad and engaged in revolution cause.All the most admirable was that she volunteered to voice grievances and arranged burial ceremony for the Qiu Jin's death.Influenced by Qiu Jin,Wu Zhiying gradually pulled out of her early simple patriotic feelings,increasingly plunged into the Democratic Revolution.But objectively speaking,she was not a radical democrat owing to her aristocracy birth and her health condition and so on.Her understanding of the democratic revolution was more conservative,not beyond the category of sympathy and support before the Revolution of 1911.Even after the Revolution of 1911,she was still willing to be a participant of the Democratic Revolution,but not a leader.
