Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the application of 3D DSA in the diagnosis of intracranial aneurysms.in comparision with conventional DSA.Methods:15 patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH),who were admitted to our hospital within 3 days, were all subjected to routine DSA/3D DSA inspection and the different methods for showing aneurysm diseases were analzed in this work. Results:In the 15 patients, moyamoya disease was found in 1 case and aneurysm in 10 cases.8 cases were detected by conventional DSA,which demonstrated only a very small number of aneurysm neck morphology(2 / 8) and parent artery and the relationship between tumors(1 / 8).On the contrary,3D DSA significantly improved the ability to display the complex structure compared with conventional DSA.3D DSA images could clearly show the aneurysm tumor, aneurysm neck morphology and relationship between parent arteries in 10 cases.3D DSA confirmed that the false-positive blood vessels in patients as shown by conventional DSA were attributable to the vessel distortion.Conclusion:3D DSA can offer the three-dimensional and visual indications of intracranial aneurysms and the relation to anatomy, thereby providing valuable imaging information for the surgical clipping and intervention treatment of the disorders.
