Abstract
PP/POE blends were prepared by means of melt blending. The dynamic mechanical responses of PP/POE were investigated by means of dynamic mechanical thermal analysis(DMTA).The results showed the low temperature inner cost peak(tanδ2) of PP/POE was observed. The action of POE made the tanδ1 corresponding Tg1 strengthened, and the tanδ2 corresponding Tg2 strengthened and widened. The SEM morphology of the PP/POE showed the breaking pattern with yield strain of the base was different from that of PP with hollowness.Compared with pure PP,the intensity of tanδ2 of peak of PP/POE(100:15) was stronger. The impact intensity at room temperature and low temperature increased obviously.
