Haploid Karyotype of Playtcodon grandiflourus

Abstract

The karyotype of haploid Playtcodon grandiflourus was analyzed and was compared with the previous karyotype of diploid Playtcodon grandiflourus and discussed their relationship for the first time was dcscussed.The results showed that it was composed metacentric chromosomes and submetacentric chromosomes.There was satellite in the 6th chromosome.The karyotype formula was K(n)=X=7m(1SAT)+2sm.It belonged to the type of 1A from the viewpoint of the karyotype recommended by Stebbins.
