Abstract

The maximum theoretical relative density of modified asphalt mixture calculadted by the bulk relative density, the apparent relative density, the average of the bulk relative density and the apparent relative density is compared with that measured by the vacuum methood and the solvent method. The results show that it is rational to calculate the maximum theoretical relative density of moddified asphalt mixture by using the average of bulk relative density and apparent relative density.
