Abstract

Aimed at the oxidized ore with zinc and iron,by the conventional methods for mineral processing, such as floatation, magnetic separation, gravity separation, alkaline leaching and sulfuric acid leaching,roasting-magnetic separation and deep reduction-magnetic separation, some related factors influencing the recovery of zinc and iron were analyzed. The results show that zinc and iron were not enriched with floatation, magnetic separation, gravity separation, alkaline leaching, sulfuric acid leaching and roasting-magnetic separation. However, the separation and recovering of zinc and iron could be achieved by deep reduction-magnetic separation, the iron grade of concentrate and the recovery of iron both was greater than 90%,metallization rate and evaporation rate was greater than 92% and 97% respectively.
