Abstract

The reflect crack on bituminous pavement with semi-rigid foundation in speed way is very general, but there is no crack on bituminous pavement with soft stable foundation by two years observation. The research results show that it is beneficial to increase the thickness of the foundation to decrease the tensile strain, and this measure can improve the pavement structure,as well as the load capacity of the road.
