Abstract
Objective To study the antitumor effect of acteoside in vivo and in vitro. Methods The inhibitory effect of acteoside on human tumor cells proliferation was assayed by MTT method.Transplant tumor models of H22 and Lewis were used. After transplantation, different doses of phlomiol were given to the mice for 14 days. The inhibitory rates were calculated. Results The inhibitory rates of acteoside(IP 2.5、5、10 mg/kg) were 17.18%~70.28%and 16.9%~55.3%in tumor- bearing mice with H22 and Lewis respectively. Conclusions Acteoside could inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells in vitro and present antitumor effect on the tumor- bearing mice.
