Abstract

Hydrogen bond and π-π interactions play an important role in the forming process and structure of super-molecules.It is stated in this article that deprotonated trans-fumarate anions and protonated trans-1,2-di(4-pyridyl)ethylene cations form a one-dimensional chain through N-H…O hydrogen bond, followed by a two-dimensional layer structure which is generated by π-π weak interaction.A three-dimension super-molecular structure is finally obtained by means of C-H…O hydrogen bonding weak interaction.
