Study of the Characteristics of Intelligent Packaging Technology

Abstract

The characteristics and functions of intelligent technology in packaging were studied. The popular intelligent packaging in the world can be classified according to the technical characteristics as follow: Functional material intelligent packaging, functional structure intelligent packaging and informative intelligent packaging. The technical difficulty of the different kinds of intelligent packaging was analyzed. It was pointed out that the foreground of developing new intelligent packaging technologies in our country was very wide.
