On the Poetics of Deng Su and His Poetry Style

Deng Su is a renowned expostulator and famous patriotic poet during Namtu Period of the Song Dynasty,whose article——Poetry Review elaborates his view of poetry widely.He learned from famous poets and absorbed their advantages,especially most influenced by Li Bai,Du Fu.His poem overcomes over plainness of Bai Style,Xikun style's caved embellishments and the School of Jiangxi disadvantages of uncommon,which not only reflects Baijuyi's plainness,Du Fu 's essence,Li Bai's boldness,but also Song people's heroism.His poem demonstrates the poem style of forceful elegance and natural naive style as well as diversity of features,such as difference in themes,ideas and feelings,historical backgrounds.The poems of Nandu Period mainly learned from Li Bai's poems,being imbued with an unquenchable boldness;while Post Nandu work focusing on Du Fu,usually reflected Contemplative;in addition,simple and innocent nature style also exists in his poems,praising highly Tao Xie's poems.
