Abstract
The crack in aircraft fuel pipe was analyzed by means of OM,SEM,and EDS etc.The simple data processing method of a random vibration expecting fatigue life reveals the reason for the reduction of fuel pipe life.The results show that the cause of the cracks in Aircraft fuel pipe is vibration fatigue which is due to the vibration stress during working,and the inducement of fatigue cracks is the local yield phenomenon producing in the wall during forming the bend pipe.
