Abstract
In this paper, intercalation methods for preparation of polymer/clay nanocomposites are reviewed, including exfoliation-absorption, in situ intercalative polymerization, melt intercalation and template synthesis. Some suggestions are also made for study of polymer/clay nanocomposites.
