Literature Review on TDM Strategies Implementation and Evaluation

Traffic congestion is one of the problems that urban society system has to face.This paper studies several TDM strategies,such as alternative work schedules,congestion pricing,ridesharing and telework etc.,following the de- scription of the evaluating indexes.With the introduction,it finds that controlling and inducing the traffic demand is the basic method to solve the conflict between the supply and demand of the urban transportation system.And it is very use- ful for our country to generalize the study and implementation of TDM strategies.
