Abstract

The effects of planting density and application amount of nitrogen, phosphate and potassium fertilizers on maize yield were studied through the combined application of split plot experiment and orthogonal experimental design to explore a new path of enhancing maize yield.Results:1)The highest maize yield,536kg/667m2,was achieved when the planting density was 3 706plants/667m2.2)Yield of Qiandan 100was very significantly higher than Jinxiang 369and Xinzhongyu 801.3)The yield reached the highest when the application amount of K2O,N and P2O5were 10kg/667m2(very significantly different with CK),12kg/667m2(significantly different with 18kg/667m2)and 12kg/667m2,respectively.
