Abstract
An improved genetic algorithm was proposed for facilitating course arranging. On the basis of the applications of genetic algorithms in course-arranging systems, the deficiencies of selection of crossover and mutation probability was pointed out,and a design of chromosome and an improved algorithm of crossover and mutation probability with dynamic parameters were proposed. The effectiveness of the improved genetic algorithm was verified through computer experiments.
