Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of patients with implantation of hydroxyapatite(HA) ocular proshtese by autologous scleral-cap style at I stage. Methods: 30 patients was selected from 2007.1 to 2011.1.Do not cut extraocular muscle or optic nerve, and adopt autologous scleral-cap style of ocular prostheses implantation after evisceration. Results: All of thirty subjects did not have conjunctiva split after operation in short time, and no complication of prostheses free exposure, implant dislocation or infection ccurred during the follow up period of 6-36 months,as HAs were fixed to orbit and moved well. Conclusion: Autologous sclera cap-style has advantages of light damage and few complications,it seems to be an ideal surgical method.
