Abstract

In the investigation on the genus Rosa linn.resources in Shandong Province in 2004,9 species,7 varieties and 1 deformation were worked up. The geographical distribution,basic morphological characteristics,ornamental characteristics and the landscape application of theses Rosa resources are described respectively in detail,which provide the basis for the conservation of germplasm resources,utilization and the breeding of new cultivars of the genus Rosa linn.in Shandong Provine.The suggestions of using rationally Rosa resources are also proposed.
