Abstract

Through analyzing the main structure forms of open CNC system,the design philosophy of the open CNC system based on PMAC for laser processing machine tool was put forward. In this system,PMAC was taken as control model of CNC and PC was taken as system supporting units. So it was a double CPU open CNC system,namely the open CNC system model ofPC + PMAC. A lot of experiments have proved that this system can work steadily and it can meet the demand of laser processing machine tool.
