The Influence of Large International Container Ships on the World's Container Port Development

Abstract

The process and trend of large international container ship development as well as its influence on the development of container ports are analyzed in the paper. It's pointed out that the development of container ports in China should adapt demands and the main emphasis is laid on the construction of pivotal container ports of international navigation center, proper distribution and the formation of perfect arterial network.
