Abstract
Transport infrastructure is one of the important influences on urban size.In certain stage of urban involution, status of transport infrastructure always indicates the size of urban area. This paper will do research into the relationship between transport infrastructure and urban involution;quantify indicators such as layout and scale of transport infrastructure, node compatibility and accessibility. Then based on the consideration of economic development towards urban size, the model about relationship between transport infrastructure and urban size is structured, and part of parameters is evaluated. Finally,it takes Shuyang as an example, researches the reasonable urban size under the established scale of transport infrastructure, and compares with its current size.
