Abstract
The fluid flow and transport process of non metal inclusion in tundish under bottom blowing are studied by numerical simulation and water model experiment. The results show that under bottom blowing the baffle control changes the flow field remarkably and improves the inclusion removal.Under the experimental condition, the inclusion removal rate of the double holey baffles control is higher than that of the weir dam control.
