Abstract
According to the structure of the stator and the driving principle,two kinds of multi-degree-of-freedom(MDOF)ultrasonic motors were classified,that was MDOF ultrasonic motors with multi vibrators and MDOF ultrasonic motors with single vibrator.The present research situation of MDOF ultrasonic motor with single vibrator was overviewed.The structure,working principle,performance and applications of these motors were mainly discussed.Then,the achievements were summed up;the trends of MDOF ultrasonic motors with single vibrator and key issues for the future work were also proposed.
