Abstract
Sulige gas field is the largest gas field in China. It has been explored since 1999. Proven reserve of natural gas is 5336×108m3. The gas field has the characteristics of low pressure, low permeability, low abundance and low formation energy. At the same time, deep buried depth of the reservoir buried deep restricts economic and effective development of gas field. In this article, the horizontal well drilling technology for Su H38 well was discussed from the aspects of reservoir, engineering design, drilling and well completion, which can provide certain guidance to the further implementation of the horizontal well overall development.
