Context and Teaching of Listening Comprehension

Context is a very important factor which should be considered in language study and use.However,it is often neglected in the classes of listening and as a result,listening comprehension would not be improved effectively.The paper analyzes the functions of context in listening,and discusses on how to make good use of methods of context in the training to raise teaching effects,by which students' listening comprehension will be improved.
