Abstract
The wide-leafy turf insects in the main cities of north of Henan province were investigated in the past three years.The results showed that these insects could be divided into 121 species belonging to 58 families within 11 orders,and there were 73 pest insect species,39 natural enemy species and 9 species of other insects in these insects.The dominant species of pest insects was different in various seasons: Aphid was dominant species in spring;Laphygma exigua and Clepsis strigana were dominant species in summer;Scarabaeoidea and Halticus minutus were dominant species in autumn.These dominant pest species are the main objects in IPM.
